During the 1994 Olympics hosted by Norway, my husband purchased a little book for me from the used book store: The Royal Palace of Stockholm by Ralph Herrmanns. This book contains many beautiful photos (by Hans Hammarskold) of the various and sundry royal belongings. After that I was hooked....
I would love to visit Norway, Sweden, Finland, and especially Denmark. Is it because I live in Florida and long for cool weather and the change of seasons or.....because GreenGate is headquartered there!?!
If you visit the GreenGate website, you'll soon find yourself lost in all manner of lovely kitchen and homey items.
This is Sylvia.
Lastly, this sweet little number is from a previous year's online catalog.
Isn't it pretty? Sure wish GreenGate would "branch out."
OOh I just love these Blankets. I just love the colours, so fresh looking. I had never heard of Greengate before PosyLinda.
ReplyDeleteDo you know what?
I would simply love a photo of you maybe on your blog. So I can at last put a face to kind words! I really appreciate your very kind words and it's always such a pleasure when you visit my blog(s)! :)

Hugs Suex

ReplyDeleteSomehow I found my way here by way of Norway.
ReplyDeleteYour little doggie is darling and I bet she'd like to curl up on one of those delightful blankets you'd love to own.

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog. I can't wait to hear an update on Amanda's plight I so hope that man gets what he deserves.
ReplyDeleteI too would love to visit Norway and Denmark- maybe one day! x
Love the colours in that last blanket. I would really like to branch out and make a blanket that's a little more adventurous than just granny squares. But it's a case of finding the time...and the money for the yarn!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteI'm like you - I hanker for a colder climate with seasons where you can snuggle down by a crackling fire !!! I'm even learning to crochet so I can make a blanket though heaven knows when I'll ever get to use it here in Brisbane !!!
Cheers
Helen
Hi Posy and Linda!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. You look like a little dog I play with at the run named Wellington (Wellie for short!). Those blankets and pillows are gorgeous, love the vibrant colors. Time to get out my passport for some wistful travel lust...
Jane and Petey

ReplyDeleteI've never heard of GreenGate but those blankets are divine! I especially love Syliva - and that gorgeous pillow! I can see why you'd like for them to branch out!
ReplyDeleteXOXO,

Thank you so much for becoming my 100th follower! I don't know how I've missed your lovely blog. I fixed that by becoming a new follower of yours too. All of my friends are here already - Sue (Mrs. Twins) and Kate (The Garden Bell) etc. I'm looking forward to being great friends.
ReplyDeleteI´m in love with Sylvia... ;o) Thanks lovely Linda for share all this great pictures. :o)
ReplyDeleteWhy must all your lovely people live so far away? I think, we would crochet beautiful things together. But no... No one here at my town crochet. :o( All thinks, that crochet only is a craft for grandma´s. So i must crochet alone... :o(
Many smiles and hugs,
Annika
